Agent engineering studio

AI agents for commerce, payments and healthcare.

We build agents that transact, work in the standards that let them interoperate, and publish the suites that prove an implementation is correct.

  • 65 merged fixes upstream
  • 294 validated conformance checks
  • 3 standards efforts

Three practices

One discipline, three industries. Read the contract, build to it test first, prove it with a suite anyone can run.

Commerce agents

Shopping and merchant agents over a real store.

  • Medusa v2 storefront and merchant backends, hosted Stripe checkout
  • Carts and sessions that survive a restart
  • Staged changes applied once across processes and crashes
  • The cart revalidated before it is paid for
  • 137 numbered statements as a runnable suite

Payments and protocol

Agentic checkout fails on protocol, not on prose.

  • Request signing under RFC 9421, signed order webhooks
  • Idempotency scoped per operation, held under a lost race
  • Error envelopes a client can act on
  • Schema constraints that bind, not constraints that only appear to
  • 250 merchant checks and 44 agent checks, each proven to catch its defect

Healthcare agents

Healthcare agents stand or fall on standards and interoperability.

  • Exchange standards as the starting contract
  • Consent scope recorded and honoured
  • Every action on an audit trail that reads back
  • A refusal when the safe answer is no
  • Conformance suites, so an integration claim can be checked

Product

Steadyline

A phone number for a small business that answers every call.

It learns the business from its own website and documents, then handles inquiry, booking, returns and refunds, and hands to a person when it should.

In development. Proof of concept complete, early access opening to anchor customers.

steadyline.org

  • One number per business. No shared queue, no shared prompt.
  • Knowledge that already exists. The website and documents of the business.
  • Inquiry, booking, returns, refunds. The four calls that cost the most time.
  • A handover that works. The agent knows what it does not know.

The standards record

We implement specifications until they break, report what broke, and send the fix. Public and countable.

65pull requests merged upstream
54defect reports filed
5repositories in one standards stack

Universal Commerce Protocol

65 merged pull requests across the specification, both official SDKs, the reference samples and the official conformance suite. 51 defect reports. Signature verification, the error envelope, idempotency, schema constraints dropped by code generation, webhook signing and delivery.

Google AP2

Open mandate constraints dropped by code generation before the checkout binding can enforce them. Versioned golden vectors with a drift canary against the reference.

Anthropic Commerce Agents

Published without accepting contributions, so we ran its contract as tests against its own examples. A dozen departures found and reported. Twelve adopted by a maintained fork.

How we work

A green result means something

Every check is proven to catch the defect it was written for.

The failing test comes first

We watch it fail for the right reason, then we try to break the fix.

Fix the class, not the instance

One report becomes a run of merged changes.

Report honestly

What we ran, what we skipped, and never certified.

Tell us what you are building

A storefront about to expose an agentic interface, an agent that has to check out across platforms, or a healthcare integration that has to survive an audit.
